Synopsis
CIA agent John Chandler, sentenced to death for the murder of a colleague, secretly is reprieved. Through plastic surgery and psychological brainwashing, he assumes the identity of a nonexistent brother, Philip. In Hamburg he infiltrates an international secret society plotting to assassinate U. S. Senator Grahame and wreck his peace mission. As proof of loyalty to the society, John fights to the death with Bob, a double agent who has since married John's "widow," Barbara. Confessing the truth to his wife, John goes to the Hamburg airport and simulates assassination of the senator. The organization abducts John to Berlin, where he is to be sacrificed in the sabotage of Senator Grahame's peace conference. John thwarts the plot, subdues his enemies, and regains the CIA's trust. En route to Hamburg, however, he is killed by a sniper.
