Biography
Fred Beir was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. His acting career began with roles in the series "Maverick" (1957-1962), "The Twilight Zone" (CBS, 1959-1964) and "Another World" (NBC, 1963-1999). He also appeared in the TV movie "Trial Run" (NBC, 1968-69). As his entertainment career progressed, he appeared in "Assassination" (1969). He also starred in the TV movies "In Broad Daylight" (ABC, 1971-72) and "Suddenly Single" (ABC, 1971-72). He also appeared in the Sidney Poitier drama "The Organization" (1971). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Kolchak: The Night Stalker" (ABC, 1974-75). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Miss Kline, We Love You" (ABC, 1973-74). Beir more recently appeared in "Love's Dark Ride" (NBC, 1977-78).
