Synopsis
"Brute" Morgan, a skipper with a "terrible reputation," runs down Kate Masterson's sailboat, imprisons her and her crew, and forces them to hard work. In a mutiny led by Rennert, Morgan is overpowered and put in irons, but he is released to command the ship during a terrific storm. The ship sinks; and Morgan and Kate, the only survivors, reach a deserted island. The experience has softened Morgan, and the two have fallen in love.
