Synopsis

Returning home from the war, Luther Green, affectionately known to his buddies as "Paris Green," briefly stops in Paris. There he meets Ninon Robinet, and although neither can speak the other's language, a friendship springs up between the two. Arriving at his small farm village, Luther is crushed by the rejection of his old sweetheart, Edith Gleason, and so decides to venture to New York City. Meanwhile, Ninon, planning to visit her rich uncle in New York, is kidnapped, but escapes, finding her way to the New Jersey train station near the Green farm, where she encounters Luther. He takes the girl home with him, and although unable to communicate, they fall in love. Locating his niece through an ad in the paper, Ninon's uncle appears at the farm, tailed by the kidnappers, who abduct Ninon once again. Mounting his father's fastest horse, Luther heads off the abductors and rescues his sweetheart, and all ends happily.
