Synopsis

When the train on which wealthy Susan Burbridge is traveling stops in the desert, she walks her dog, who chases a rabbit, with Susan following. After the train leaves, Susan takes shelter from a storm in a cabin, where she meets Jimmy Dawson, whom she suspects is a bandit, but who really is an engineering agent for her father. Soon four outlaws arrive, and to protect Susan, Jimmy pretends to be a kidnapper and sends her father a ransom note in code, causing him to round up a posse. After Jimmy humiliates one of the outlaws, a Peeping Tom trying to watch Susan undress, the outlaw ties Jimmy to a post, and, in turn, is tied up by Susan, who also holds back the rest of the gang with her pistol. When the outlaws are captured, Jimmy disappears until weeks later, at the Burbridge house, he reveals his identity to Susan, and they confess their mutual love.
