Synopsis

At the behest of his father, fun-loving Eddie Ramson joins an expedition to Russia under the command of Captain Carleton. He is rarely sober but does find time to win the heart of peasant schoolmarm Sophie Semenoff. Sophie is under considerable pressure from the Bolsheviki to marry, and there are merry chases which result in Eddie's taking Sophie for his wife. Back in the U. S. A., Eddie and Sophie meet his mother's disapproval, and Sophie is again pursued and kidnaped by American agents of Russian anarchists. Mrs. Ramson gets the upper hand over the abductors, Sophie reveals that they really sought her family jewels, and the family is happily reconciled--knowing Sophie is a princess.
