Synopsis
Bill Cody leaves his western ranch to live in a big city. He would like to court Ruth Jones, who lives next door, but her father objects strongly and even hires an unscrupulous lawyer to seize Cody's land, which he covets. After several escapades with the police and the lawyer's gang of thugs, Cody convinces Ruth's father of his worth and obtains permission to marry her.
