Synopsis

Teddy Darman, construction superintendent of the Continental Gold Dredging Co., falls in love with Dora Wade, daughter of John Wade, who leads the area's farmers opposing the destruction of their land. At her suggestion, Darman designs a machine that will resoil the land as it digs, and the farmers mortgage their farms to build it. Masters, agent for Continental who lent the money for the dredging operation, causes the machine to be wrecked. A battle with Masters' men ensues, and Teddy and the farmers beat their opponents as the sheriff arrives. Masters agrees to use the new machine, and Ted wins Dora and is made general manager of the company.
