Synopsis
Terry Baldwin inherits a ranch provided that within 6 months he solves the mystery of Haunted Ranch and brings to justice the killer of Kellerd, a neighboring rancher. Terry falls in love with Kellerd's daughter, Alma, and learns that her brother, Ralph, is in the power of Alex Forester, a cattle thief. Terry later finds out that the ghost of Haunted Ranch is one of Forester's men dressed in a sheet, the "haunting" being used as a ruse for cattle rustling. Terry brings Forester and his gang to justice, sees to Ralph's redemption, and marries Alma.
