Synopsis
When a small European nation is threatened by revolution, the country's monarch sends his crown jewels to an American banker for safekeeping. Madame Levine, the head of a gang of international jewel thieves, plans to steal the jewels and, posing as a society woman, befriends banker Maxwell Grey. Young French refugee Diana De Lille unwittingly aids Madame Levine, but when she suspects foul play, she confides in the banker's son Kenneth, who has fallen in love with her. The crooks pursue Baron Strickland, who has been entrusted with the jewels, but he outwits them with Kenneth's help. Diana is imprisoned by Madame Levine but escapes and is reunited with Kenneth and the baron, who finally is revealed to be her father.
