Synopsis
Jimmy Burke, an idealistic young milkman, organizes the independent deliverers to combat the trust. While on his rounds one morning, he meets Jean Blair, president of the milk trust, who is returning home from a costume party disguised as a maid. Jimmy offers her a ride in his wagon, and they fall in love. Jimmy later discovers that George Fairchild, the manager of the milk guild, is conspiring to fix the price. Jimmy goes to the trust building and finds out that the president of the milk trust is the pretty "domestic" with whom he has fallen in love. He believes that she has been using him, but Jean is innocent of the price-fixing, and she immediately fires Fairchild. Jean then discovers that Fairchild has poisoned the independent milk supply. She alerts Johnny, who destroys the bad milk. Jean is kidnaped by Fairchild's men, who lock her in a refrigerator room. Jimmy saves her from death by an ice-cutting machine and fights off the villains. Jimmy and Jean make plans to merge the independents and the trust by means of their marriage.
