Synopsis

Nathan Cohen, a Jew, and Patrick Kelly, an Irishman, are quarreling business partners. Accompanied by their wives, they board a liner for France to forestall a marriage between their offspring, Sadye Cohen and Patrick Kelly. Upon arrival in Paris, they find their children already married and nearly divorced. Paulette, an artist's model whom Pat is painting in the nude, is the bone of contention between the newlyweds. Visiting Paulette, Cohen and Kelly quarrel with her husband, Pierre, an apache, and nearly wreck the Café Diable. Pierre challenges Cohen and Kelly to a duel, but the wives rescue their husbands in an airplane; once in the air, the two families make up their differences.
