Synopsis

Texas cowboy Tex Sherwood arrives in Belmont, Montana, to register his title to land he has inherited. Banker Asa Holman, Buck Schofield, and their cohorts are determined to stop him, however, because of a large reclamation project and a million-dollar dam financed by Holman on Tex's property. Tex eludes Schofield's ruffians; sparks a romance with Carolyn Jordan, who is in charge of the dam's construction for her injured father; and arrives at the courthouse in time to foil the gang. More complications follow, but Tex eventually receives $5 million for his land, Carolyn finishes the dam on time to earn a bonus, and the pair leave for Texas together.
