Synopsis
Because wealthy Aunt Sarah threatens to cut off his inheritance unless he marries, Steve Perkins introduces Winnie Jones, his friend's wife, as his own. Complications result from Aunt Sarah's attempts to reconcile the apparently troubled couple and Percy's weariness of the masquerade. Meanwhile, Steve falls in love with Ruth Whitman, and he marries her while Aunt Sarah goes off in pursuit of Winnie and Percy. Confessing the hoax to his aunt, Steve receives her forgiveness and continued blessing.
