Synopsis
Thaddeus Plummer, whose nickname is "The Worm" because his job is to bore holes into furniture to make it look antique, buys an oriental rug and nearly loses his job when his employer, Pat O'Donnell, alias Abdul Ishmid, deems it worthless. Plummer, having heard that it is a "wishing rug," makes a wish over it and becomes very lucky. He wishes to see his sweetheart and is rewarded; then he sells the rug for $1,000. Finally, the antique shop becomes his and he marries the girl.
