Synopsis

Nina Girard, a prima donna whose opera company is touring South America, captivates everyone she meets until she encounters Johnny Armstrong, a woman hater. When she is captured by a tribe of Indians living in the mountains, Johnny rescues Nina and becomes fascinated with a change in her character apparently brought about by her experience in the mountains. As the two return to civilization, however, Nina becomes her old self, craving and receiving constant attention, and Johnny's admiration fades. In the hope that he can regain the woman he loves, Johnny carries Nina back to the mountains again.
