Synopsis
"Sure Thing" Sherman, masquerading as an evangelist, and Isadore Kelly arrive in Rome, Missouri, during the county fair, intending to rob the bank while fellow conspirator Madame Le Grande performs her balloon stunt. Their scheme is upset by rotund village jack-of-all-trades Slim Swasey, and he wins Ollie Remus, who was on the verge of eloping with Sherman. It develops that Tinkle, a child whom Slim has found and cared for, is the daughter of Madame Le Grande.
