Synopsis
After returning home late and drunken from his engagement party, Geoffrey Lascelles is put in charge of an Egyptian mummy by his friend Simpson, an amateur archaeologist. Geoffrey falls asleep and dreams that the mummy revivifies as Amenset, a demanding princess who invades Geoffrey's apartment and then his life. At the home of Geoffrey's fiancée, Violet Manning, Amenset not only wreaks havoc with the butler, Billings, but her jealousy of Violet causes problems as well. Battling the confusion of telephones, matches and other modern inventions, Amenset becomes angry with Simpson and threatens to poison him, but Geoffrey wisely takes the princess back to his apartment before damage is done. Once returned, Geoffrey wakes, thankful to find his adventure nothing but the dust of Egypt.
