Synopsis

Leonie D'Orville, member of the Blackbirds, a notorious band of crooks which preys upon the rich, meets Nevil Trask and falls in love. Unknown to Leonie, Trask is a Secret Service agent assigned to protect the same valuable painting that she is attempting to steal. Leonie becomes friendly with the Crockers, the owners of the portrait, and is invited to their house. She switches the art work with a fake, but has misgivings and refuses to deliver it the gang. In anger, the Blackbirds' leader Duval plans to steal the art work and frame Leonie. Trask discovers the plan and apprehends Duval as he attempts to purloin the painting, thus freeing Leonie to marry him.
