Synopsis

Adaptation of Mark Fuhrman's book about the murder of Martha Moxley. In 1997, controversial former LAPD detective Mark Fuhrman uncovered the truth about the 1975 murder of 15-year-old Martha Moxley. The killings were originally traced to the Moxley's neighbors -- the wealthy, well-connected Skakel family, who are related to the Kennedys by marriage. The Skakels were able to avoid any charges being brought against them. Twenty-two years later, Fuhrman's involvement resulted in a renewed investigation culminating in the January 2000 arrest of Michael Skakel for murder.
