Synopsis
The overall title for three one-act plays by Noel Coward. The first story, "Red Peppers," relates incidents in the life of Lily Pepper, a petulant, caustic-tongued housewife. In the second story, "Still Life," Laura Jesson, a respected English housewife, faces a crisis when she finds herself in love with another man; and in "Shadow Play," the final story, Victoria Gayforth, a socially impeccable wife, relives her courtship (via a dream sequence) in an attempt to understand why her husband is divorcing her. The special marks the television debut of Ginger Rogers.
