Synopsis
A two-part English special using life-size puppets to spoof top personalities in American politics, sports, music, motion pictures, and television. In Part 1, the Famous Corporation, an infamous organization of celebrities, chooses Sylvester Stallone to be the Republican nominee for President. They select an unknown, Samuel S. Samuelson, to be the Democratic nominee. However, Samuelson so impresses Stallone that the actor resigns his candidacy to support Samuelson, thus panicking the Famous Corporation. In Part 2, the infamous group plans to kidnap Ronald Reagan and change the Constitution so he can run for a third term, but with Dustin Hoffman impersonating him as a new energetic President. But Hoffman/Reagan and Samuelson must face each other in a televised Great Debate.
