Synopsis
On March 16, 1877, while searching for the lost kingdom of Atlantis, the submarine Nautilus wedges itself under a coral reef. Unable to free the submarine, its captain, Nemo, suspends himself in a crystalline chamber. One hundred years later, during U.S. Navy war games, divers Tom Franklin and Jim Porter discover the Nautilus. Upon boarding the sub, they meet Nemo (who has emerged from the chamber due to the depth charges used in the games) and learn his fate. The constant barrage also sets the Nautilus free and brings Nemo in contact with Hamilton Miller, the naval intelligence chief, who agrees to repair Nemo's ship in return for his help in performing certain hazardous missions for the government. The series depicts Nemo's adventures as he aids the U.S. government while seeking the fabled lost kingdom of Atlantis.
