Synopsis

Disc jockey T Tommy returns to Nashville in 1965 for the country music DJ convention. He meets many friends and invites them to tour the city with him. They visit Roy Acuff's Museum of Music, Ernie's (Ernest Tubb's) Record Shop, and the music store Sho'Bud to see Shot Jackson and some of the newest musical instruments he has made. The group then stops at a television studio to see a live show emceed by disc jockey Bob Jennings and featuring Lorene Mann. Jennings and Hillous Butrum later watch Wayne Haas cut his first record, while T Tommy's group goes to meet Webb Pierce at his home. After attending the Record World Awards, emceed by Bob Austin, the disc jockeys visit a nightclub to see many country music and comedy groups perform.
