Biography
Webb Pierce's musical talents have contributed to a variety of Hollywood productions. Pierce began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Desert Hearts" (1986) with Helen Shaver, the Johnny Depp musical comedy "Cry Baby" (1990) and "The Beverly Hillbillies" (1993) starring Diedrich Bader. In the nineties and the early 2000s, Pierce's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Sean Penn crime drama "U-Turn" (1997), the Patrick Stewart crime feature "Dad Savage" (1998) and "Northfork" (2003) with James Woods. Pierce's music was also featured in the Aaron Stanford horror flick "The Hills Have Eyes" (2006), "The Hoax" (2007) with Richard Gere and the Emma Stone box office smash dramatic adaptation "The Help" (2011). Pierce's music was most recently used in the Demián Bichir period drama "The Runway" (2012).
