Synopsis
Telefilm concerning the life of Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy. Focusing on the life changes that occurred after her husband was shot and killed and her son Kevin was wounded by a gunman on a Long Island, New York, commuter train in December 1993. The movie follows her treatment of her son through her political victory in 1996 when she was elected to Congress on a platform of tighter gun control. Based on a true story.
