Synopsis

Farmer and recent widower John Webb is suddenly offered money for the mineral rights to his land by a Texas oil man. Webb's nephews, Carl and Gus, Jr., become excited by the proposition since they own 50% of the land's mineral rights after receiving an earlier inheritance from their father. The nephew's wives, Estelle and Agnes, are also excited, since both families are in need of cash. But John and his best friend Grey aren't pinning their hopes on an oil discovery. They would rather stick to farming and discuss times gone by.
