Synopsis
An anthology of four short films by different directors. Animator Ralph Bakshi's live-action "This Ain't Bebop" is a contemporary narrative about a man's odyssey through the surreal cityscape of downtown Los Angeles as he tries to find the life he has lost. Ed Lachman's "Get Your Kicks on Route 66" is the story of America's most famous highway and the people who have traversed it. "Tribe," by Matt Mahurin, wryly examines the myths and rituals hidden in American society. "Reflections of a Native Son" is Mustapha Khan's stylized portrait of a community in the South Bronx district of New York City.
