Biography
Carol Ita White found incredible success as an accomplished actress, appearing in a variety of films throughout her Hollywood career. White started off her acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in "Dulcima" (1971), the romance "Pipe Dreams" (1976) with Gladys Knight and "The Squeeze" (1977). She also appeared in the Jill St John drama "The Concrete Jungle" (1982) and "Nutcracker" (1982). She also appeared in the TV movie "Terror on the Beach" (CBS, 1973-74). She kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in the action picture "Savage Streets" (1984) with Linda Blair, "Joy of Sex" (1984) and "Body Rock" (1984). More recently, she continued to act in the Danny Glover dramedy "Grand Canyon" (1991) and the Michael Douglas drama "Falling Down" (1993). Most recently, White acted on "Modern Family" (ABC, 2009-).
