Fuzzbucket
Thirty years later Mick Garris produced and directed the short feature Fuzzbucket for the Disney TV show. First airing on May 18 of 1986, the family comedy concerns a strange invisible creature that lives in the tree house of Michael, a junior high school student (Chris Hebert). The furry, possibly imaginary friend aids Michael in overcoming bullies at school, and helps him deal emotionally with a strained home life, where his parents always seem to be arguing. Fuzzbucket shared the Disney time slot with a co-feature directed by Jackie Cooper, The Deacon Street Deer (1986).
