Biography
Paul Harper was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Harper began his acting career with roles in such films as the William Smith drama "Run, Angel, Run" (1969), the western "The Wild Bunch" (1969) with William Holden and the drama "J.W. Coop" (1972) with Cliff Robertson. He also landed a role in the miniseries "John Steinbeck's "East of Eden"" (1980-81). He also appeared in the TV special "Fuzzbucket" (ABC, 1985-86). He also starred in the TV movies "The Bounty Man" (ABC, 1972) and "The Call of the Wild" (NBC, 1975-76). He also appeared in "Thrill Ride: The Science of Fun" (1997). during these yearsHe also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Johnny Bago" (CBS, 1992-93). Most recently, Harper acted in the James McAvoy dramatic adaptation "Atonement" (2007).
