Synopsis
When Claire, 19 years old and in the bloom of her youth, is brutally attacked and raped, she tells no one. Her secret shatters her world and sense of self. She returns home bruised, hurt, and, far worse, dead to feeling. Unable to confide the shame to her brother, estranged father, or best friend, she quits college for the bar scene, trying to prove through loud music and wild dancing, alcohol and sex, that she is in control, and alive. Those near to Claire see only the self-destructive downward spiral.
