Fanny Cottencon was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Cottencon's earliest roles were in film, including the comedy "Paradis pour tous" (1982) with Patrick Dewaere, the Simone Signoret drama "L' Etoile du nord" (1982) and "L' Ami de Vincent" (1983). She also appeared in "Tout le monde peut se Tromper" (1983), the Jean-Louis Trintignant comedic drama "Surtuz Egy Fekete Bivalyert" (1984) and "A Coups de Crosse" (1984). She kept working in film throughout the eighties, starring in "Special Police" (1985), the comedy adaptation "Monsieur de Pourceaugnac" (1985) with Michel Galabru and the Marthe Keller drama "Femmes de personne" (1986). Toward the end of her career, she tackled roles in "Le Mariage de Figaro" (1989), the comedy "Les Cles du Paradis" (1991) with GĂ©rard Jugnot and "Golden Eighties" (1992). She also appeared in "Nos Vies Heureuses" (1999) and "Mortal Transfer" (2001) with Jean-Hugues Anglade. Most recently, Cottencon acted in the dramatic adaptation "Les beaux jours" (2014) with Patrick Chesnais.
