Synopsis

Adaptation of Peter Benchley's novel "White Shark." Recently divorced Dr. Simon Chase has just begun research at a remote island lab, Shark's Tooth Island, long abandoned by the U.S. Navy. Chase is driven by a personal loss to research the link between a cure for cancer and sharks. The natives are frightened of the lab and its new doctor. Chase soon learns that decades ago, a top-secret experiment involving sharks went terribly wrong, resulting in a deadly creature that was destroyed. But somehow the new breed of amphibious predators survived and is now threatening all life in the sea and on land, including Chase, his ex-wife Dr Amanda Macy and their son Max.
