Synopsis
When Derian, a private investigator, is hired by a jealous wife, Anthea, to uncover her husband Michael's suspected infidelity, Derian uncovers much more than she bargained for.After following Michael for a few days, Derian quickly determines that he is a loyal husband who is trying to hold on to a failing marriage. But Anthea is not convinced; in order to test her husband's fidelity, she insists that Derian try to entice Michael into having an affair. When Derian enters the picture, Michael realizes that he is no longer in love with his wife. He succeeds in seducing Derian who falls hard for Michael, attracted by his honesty and vulnerability, despite Anthea's warnings about her husband's dark side. Derian rushes to Anthea's aid when the wife calls her, claiming that Michael has gone crazy with rage and attacked her. Upon arrival, Derian finds a beaten Anthea, a dead Michael and a swarm of police with Anthea pointing an accusing finger at Derian. Now alone and with time running out, Derian embarks on a mission to prove her innocence.
