Synopsis

The summer beach movie just hip-hopped to a whole different shoreline. Larger than life Benny King is a dreamer with a poet's heart who dreams of becoming a famous writer and devoting his life to one woman, his muse, a vision so perfect she can't possibly be real. Benny's best friend, Durrel Jackson, is also a dreamer. But his dream is sitting in Benny's driveway: Mr. King's vintage convertible Mercedes, the kind of car no woman can resist--and with Benny's family away on vacation, the car is theirs for the taking. It's high summer and the destiny of these boys from Bakersfield lies a few hundred miles south where the sun is hot and so are the babes. Benny's and Durrel's dreams are about to come tantalizingly to life but in ways they never expected.
