Biography

Brian Hooks has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. He also appeared in the TV movie "Runaway Car" (Fox, 1996-97). He also acted in various film roles at the time, appearing in "Phat Beach" (1996) and the Jon Lovitz comedy "High School High" (1996). He next focused his entertainment career on film, appearing in the Warren Beatty dramatic comedy "Bulworth" (1998), the dramatic adaptation "Beloved" (1998) with Oprah Winfrey and the action picture "Thursday" (1998) with Thomas Jane. He also appeared in the Mike Myers box office smash comedy sequel "Austin Powers: the Spy Who Shagged Me" (1999). In the early 2000s, he then appeared in "Soul Plane" (2004) with Tom Arnold, the action movie "Fool's Gold" (2008) with Matthew McConaughey and the thriller "Dead Tone" (2009) with Rutger Hauer. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Eve" (UPN, 2003-06). Most recently, Hooks acted in "Laughing to the Bank" (2013).
