Synopsis
Parvez is a reserved taxi driver who has spent 25 years in England building a life for himself and his family. Minoo is Parvez' dutiful wife and Farid is Parvez' teenage son, who is consumed with preserving his roots in a multicultural country. The stability of Parvez' home is disrupted when Parvez begins to fall for a local prostitute, Bettina, and a German business man, Schitz, comes to town and challenges Parvez to live a more free lifestyler. Fundamentalism meets western hedonism over a kitchen table of an Asian family.
