Biography
Luchi De Jesus brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. De Jesus began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "Slaughter" (1972) with Jim Brown, the comedy "Bad Charleston Charlie" (1973) with Ross Hagen and the action film "Detroit 9000" (1973) with Alex Rocco. His music also appeared in "Black Belt Jones" (1974). In the seventies, De Jesus's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like "Friday Foster" (1975) and "Lady Cocoa" (1975). De Jesus's music was also featured in the Fred "The Hammer" Williamson comedy "Adios Amigo" (1976) and "All Men Are Liars" (1995). De Jesus was most recently credited in the Om Puri dramatic adaptation "My Son the Fanatic" (1999). De Jesus's music appeared on TV shows like "CHiPs" (NBC, 1977-1983). De Jesus passed away in August 1984 at the age of 61.
