Synopsis
A typical day for New York City subway riders turns into a nightmare, as four hijackers, led by Mr. Blue, carry out their plan to seize command of a subway train with eight hostages. A ransom of $8 million must be delivered in one hour or they will begin to shoot the hostages. Transit Authority Police Chief Anthony Prescotti and Detective Specialist Inez Raye battle City Hall for the money, contend with the hijacker's demands and attempt to identify the gunmen. Meanwhile, subway conductor Babs Cardoza bravely stands up to her captors, including the dangerous Mr. Grey, disgruntled former subway employee Mr. Green, and the callous female Mr. Brown.
