In 1965, the "Hallmark Hall of Fame" telecast an adaptation of the play starring Ed Begley and Melvyn Douglas. The 1960 Stanley Kramer feature film starred Fredric March as Brady and Spencer Tracy as Drummond. The original 1955 Broadway play first starred Ed Begley as Brady and Paul Muni as Drummond, with Melvyn Douglas later replacing Muni.
