Synopsis
Television movie about the second string football team that must fill in when the Buffalo Bills' starters can't play. The Buffalo Bills' entire all-star offensive squad succumbs to a serious case of food poisoning and is lost for the rest of the season, just one week before the playoffs. The Bills' coach scrambles to bolster his second-string team, hiring a collection of cast-off players, including a former star Notre Dame quarterback and wide receiver. The team's road to the Super Bowl is paved with mishaps, mistakes and miracles.
