Synopsis

Tim Baxter returns home after a five-year absence to prove he did not murder his uncle, who willed his ranch to his foreman, Jed Miller. Tim knows the will was forged by Miller and his partner, Jim Thorne. Traveling with his friend, Johnny Lloyd, Tim stops to eat in Dr. "Doc" Wayne's restaurant and meets his daughter Sally. Quickly, Tim organizes a group of ex-convicts, who all have grievances against Miller. Doc joins the gang, and Tim gives Sally his uncle's real will for safe keeping. With his mind on revenge, Tim is unaware that Sally and Johnny have fallen in love, and when Tim tries to kiss her, Johnny thinks he has been betrayed by them both. In anger, Johnny joins Miller's gang, gets drunk, and tells Miller the location of Tim's hideout. Miller raids the camp, and Tim and Doc are taken hostage, but in a change of heart, Johnny brings Tim's men to Miller's ranch. After a blazing gun battle, Miller and Thorne are arrested. Sally and Johnny are then reunited, and Tim recovers his uncle's ranch.
