Rosalind Ivan was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Ivan's earliest roles were in film, including the mystery "Pillow of Death" (1945) with Lon Chaney Jr., "Pursuit to Algiers" (1945) and "Scarlet Street" (1945) with Edward G Robinson. She also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Corn Is Green" (1945) with Bette Davis. Her film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "The Suspect" (1945), "Alias Mr. Twilight" (1946) and the mystery "The Verdict" (1946) with Sydney Greenstreet. She also appeared in "Three Strangers" (1946). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in the Joan Fontaine drama "Ivy" (1947), the drama "Johnny Belinda" (1948) with Jane Wyman and the Richard Burton drama "The Robe" (1953). Ivan more recently acted in the Elizabeth Taylor dramatic adaptation "Elephant Walk" (1954). Ivan passed away in April 1959 at the age of 79.
