Biography
David Hunt was a big screen film actor known for powerful performances. Early on, Hunt mostly landed roles in various films, including the drama "Closing Ranks" (1987) with Rob Spendlove, "The Dead Pool" (1988) and "Jade" (1995) with David Caruso. He had an early role on the television special "The Black Velvet Gown" (PBS, 1992-93). He additionally landed roles in the TV movies "The Dancer's Touch" (ABC, 1988-89) and "Anna Lee: Stalker" (1994-95). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the early 2000s, appearing in the Ioan Gruffudd period drama "Amazing Grace" (2007). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Agatha Christie's Murder On the Orient Express" (CBS, 2000-01). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "The Comeback" (HBO, 2005-2014). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the comedy adaptation "The Deal" (2008) with William H. Macy and "Moms' Night Out" (2014). Most recently, Hunt acted on "Genius" (National Geographic, 2017-). Hunt was married to Patricia Heaton.
