She also appeared in the TV movie "Brotherhood of the Gun" (CBS, 1991-92). In the beginning of her Hollywood career, Hoyos acted in films like "Crimes of Passion" (1984). Following that project, she appeared in the Warren Beatty dramedy "Bulworth" (1998) and "Clockwatchers" (1998) with Toni Collette. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "Almost Perfect" (CBS, 1995-97). She also was featured in the TV movie "She's No Angel" (Lifetime, 2001-02). She also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Bones" (Fox, 2005-) and "Modern Family" (ABC, 2009-).
