Biography
Actor Charles Howerton appeared on the big screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. In the beginning of his acting career, Howerton starred in comedies like "Eat My Dust" (1976), "Up From the Depths" (1979) with Sam Bottoms and Suzanne Reed and "Dr. Heckyl & Mr. Hype" (1980) with Oliver Reed. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Choice" (CBS, 1980-81). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in "Assassination" (1987) with Charles Bronson and the Robert Downey Jr. biopic drama "Chaplin" (1992). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Betty Ford Story" (ABC, 1986-87). Recently, he tackled roles in "The Onion Movie" (2008) and the Channing Tatum box office smash action flick "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" (2009). Most recently, Howerton acted on "Justified" (FX, 2009-2015).
