Biography
Peter Del Monte worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Monte began his career directing independent films, including early work on "Piso Pisello" (1981), "Invitation au Voyage" (1982) and "Little Flames" (1985). He continued to work in film in the eighties, directing motion pictures like the Kathleen Turner drama "Julia and Julia" (1988), "Ballad of the Windscreen Washers" (1998) with Olek Mincer and "Controvento" (2000). He also appeared in "Etoile," "In Your Hands" and "Traces of a Love Life." Monte also directed "Travelling Companion."
