Biography

Bennet Guillory has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Guillory had an early acting career in film, appearing in such titles as the Danny Glover dramatic adaptation "The Color Purple" (1985), the David Allen Brooks horror film "The Kindred" (1987) and the Ally Sheedy comedic fantasy "Maid to Order" (1987). He also appeared in the Ed Harris adventurous drama "Walker" (1987). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including parts on "Life Goes On" (ABC, 1989-1993) and "Dangerous Women" (1990-92). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Guillory devoted his time to various credits, such as "Override" (Showtime, 1994-95), "The Tuskegee Airmen" (HBO, 1994-95) and "America's Dream" (HBO, 1995-96). He also worked on "Falling Like This" (2000). In his more recent career, he tackled roles on "The Guardian" (CBS, 2001-04) and "NCIS" (CBS, 2003-). Guillory focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the horror flick "They Crawl" (2002) with Daniel Cosgrove and "Tyler Perry's Daddy's Little Girls" (2007) with Gabrielle Union. Guillory most recently acted in "The Harimaya Bridge" (2010).
