Maxine Guess was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Guess started off her acting career mostly in film roles, appearing in the Richard Grieco action film "If Looks Could Kill" (1991), the comedy "Sweet Killing" (1993) with Anthony Higgins and "Hard Evidence" (1995). She also was featured in the miniseries "Armistead Maupin's More Tales of the City" (1997-98). She worked in television in her early acting career as well, including parts on "The Commish" (1991-95) and "The X-Files" (Fox, 1993-2002). She also starred in the TV movies "Random Encounter" (1998-99), "Strange Justice" (Showtime, 1998-99) and "Eternal Revenge" (The Movie Channel, 1999-2000). She also appeared in "Sublet" (Cinemax, 1999-2000) and "The Witness Files" (Cinemax, 1999-2000). She also appeared in the Billy Crudup dramatic adaptation "Waking the Dead" (2000). She also was featured in the TV movies "Our America" (Showtime, 2001-02) and "The Red Sneakers" (Showtime, 2001-02). Guess most recently acted on "Rush" (USA, 2013-14).
